Requirements
- Previous experience in a print finishing, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Ability to operate finishing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work to production targets and deadlines.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate finishing equipment such as cutters, guillotines, laminators, folders, binders, die-cutters, and packaging machines.
- Review work orders and finishing specifications before commencing production.
- Set up and adjust machinery for different finishing processes.
- Trim, cut, laminate, fold, bind, assemble, and package products as required.
- Conduct quality inspections during and after finishing operations.
- Identify and report product defects or production issues.
- Prepare finished products for storage or dispatch.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Accurately record production data and completed work.
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures.
