Job Description
The Assembly Operative willbe responsible for assembling door kits and related joinery products in accordance with production specifications, quality standards, and health and safety requirements. The successful candidate will work as part of a manufacturing team to ensure products are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, woodworking, joinery, carpentry, or a similar production environment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to read measurements accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and practical skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble door kits and associated components according to technical drawings and production instructions.
- Fit ironmongery, hinges, locks, handles, seals, and other hardware as required.
- Carry out measuring, drilling, fitting, and basic woodworking tasks.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure products are assembled to the required quality standards and specifications.
- Meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Inspect materials and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
- Report quality issues to supervisors promptly.
- Ensure all completed products meet company and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate production records where required.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE.
- Keep workstations clean, organised, and free from hazards.
- Report accidents, near misses, or equipment faults immediately.
Annual Salary
Minimum €36,605 per annum
Work Schedule
39 hours per week
